“On the 22nd of May 2001, the Luso-American Development Foundation, in Lisbon, hosted a session devoted to the presentation of issue number six of the journal Portuguese Literary & Cultural Studies, entitled “On Saramago”.
On this occasion Harold Bloom gave a lecture about “The Varieties of José Saramago” […] attended by José Saramago, winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1998.”

.Transatlantic Trends Survey
For the 7th year, the Luso-American Foundation has been associated with one of the leading opinion surveys among the elites and policy makers in Europe and the US. The Transatlantic Trends Survey is intrumental in what concerns the perception of the population about the importance of the transatlantic relation, the attitudes towards global threats and the way to face them. The survey is carried out once a year in the US and in 12 European countries, including Portugal. More
