STUDY IN PORTUGAL
The Luso-American Foundation, in partnership with Turismo de Portugal, Conselho de Reitores das Universidades Portuguesas, AICEP and the Fulbright Commission, launches a program for the promotion of Portuguese universities in the U.S.

In line with "Study in Portugal" program, Portugal will be represented at
NAFSA 2013 Annual Conference and Expo, St.Louis, Missouri, May 26-31,
with a delegation of university representatives and program partners.

The program aims at supporting projects led by Portuguese scientific or research institutions that contribute towards the advancement of knowledge and the development of transatlantic relations.

A new initiative developed by FLAD.
The "Reading in Portuguese" initiative, scheduled for the 2011/2012 academic year, is a contest targeting combined teams of high school students and their teachers from Portugal and the US.
This FLAD initiative is held in conjunction with Portugal’s National Reading Plan, the Network of School Libraries, the Regional Departments of Education of the Azores and Madeira, and the Coordinating Group for Portuguese Education in the United States.
