The Walk&Talk Festival has been held in São Miguel since 2011 and in 2016 it was extended to Terceira Island. Over nine editions the festival has hosted more than two hundred artists from multiple geographical and disciplinary backgrounds.

Walk&Talk is a sui generis arts festival for various reasons, one of which is intrinsically related to its origin – the Azores. Its uniqueness is also due to the freshness of its cultural proposal, which translates into a triangular dialogue between artists, the Azorean territory and the community itself.

This initiative, which counts with the support of FLAD, seeks to activate several urban and suburban Azorean areas and integrates a set of contemporary art exhibitions that usually result from the artistic residencies that take place during the year, such as shows, concerts, performances, conversations, and other events.

The program of Walk&Talk, in the format of an art circuit, has become indispensable in the contemporary cultural life of São Miguel and Terceira, allowing the creation of a fundamental network in the development of the Azores and its artistic landscape.

The 10th edition of the festival will take place between the 9th and 19th of July of 2020.
