This Friday, at 5:00 p.m. (Lisbon Time) join our debate about the future of politics and law making during, and after, this pandemic. “What’s next for Politics and Law Making: The new, the normal and the exceptional”, the third of FLAD’s webinars.

A decade after one of the largest financial crises in modern history, the world faces a challenge like no other: a global pandemic that has restricted activity in every continent.

In response to this pandemic, Parliaments play a key role not only in saving lives but also livelihoods. Tackling the global health crisis and supporting the economy is a balancing act, made more difficult by the pressing timeframe.

How are Parliaments and legislators responding to COVID-19? How can they react decisively to support workers and businesses in this difficult time?

To discuss these issues and more, join us this Friday at 5:00 PM (Lisbon time)/12:00 PM (EST) for FLAD’s third webinar What’s next for Politics and Law Making: The new, the normal and the exceptional”.
