The first ESG Azores Forum will be held this Wednesday, March 22, a meeting organized by FLAD and novobanco dos Açores, as members of GRACE – Responsible Companies and the “Azores” working group of this association.
Dedicated to local companies, of different sectors and dimensions, this forum highlights the best and most complex things to do at the level of Sustainable Development in companies in the archipelago, but also in the continent. At a time when ESG (environment, social and governance) practices are essential and, in many cases, decisive for business continuity, it is important to share challenges, paths that have been tested and a vision of the future.
With the focus on the strategic perspective of Sustainability, as an increasingly unavoidable factor in the decision making of managers, ESG Azores Forum also has the presence of Georg Kell. The keynote speaker is chairman of Arabesque, founder and former executive director of the UN Global Compact, a United Nations initiative to encourage companies to adopt policies of corporate social responsibility and sustainability, which is at the origin of the so-called 2030 agenda.
This event is part of the agenda of the “Azores” cluster of GRACE, composed of several national companies and organizations , whose mission is to promote social responsibility and sustainability in the Azorean business fabric.
