Bernard Carvalho, Jr. is a member of the Kaua’i County Council, where he currently chairs the Parks & Recreation / Transportation Committee. Prior to that, Bernard Carvalho served as Mayor of the County of Kauaʻi from 2008 to 2018. Carvalho began his career with the County in 1985 in the Department of Public Works.
