Augusto “Augie” Tulba is a member of the Honolulu City Council, representing District 9. He serves as the Committee Chair for Parks and Community Service, and Vice-Chair for Public Safety. Prior to that, Augie worked for the administrations of Hawai‘i County Mayor Billy Kenoi and Lieutenant Governor Shan Tsutsui, where he led youth outreach initiatives. Before entering into politics, Tulba worked as a stand-up comedian and a radio show host, but also starred in movies and television shows. His Portuguese roots trace back to Madeira.
