The Vice President of the United States and candidate for the Democratic Party, Kamala Harris, and the former President of the United States and candidate for the Republican Party, Donald Trump, faced each other this Tuesday night in the first debate between the two candidates for the Presidency of the United States, which will be decided on November 5th.

The debate was promoted by ABC, and was innitially pre-agreed with Joe Biden’s campaign, before the current President abdicated the Democratic nomination in favor of Kamala Harris.

This is the only debate agreed between the two campaigns, for now, with negotiations continuing for two more debates until November.
