State Representative || David T. Vieira is a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, where he serves the 3rd Barnstable District on Cape Cod. He was sworn in for a sixth term in January 2021. David is the Ranking Member of the House Committee on Bonding, Capital Expenditures, and State Assets, but also of the Joint Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security. David T. Vieira has also been the Town Moderator (Leader of the Municipal Legislature) in his hometown for 22 years. David was born and raised in East Falmouth, Massachusetts. His Portuguese roots originate from Maia, São Miguel, in the Azores, by his grandfather’s side, and from Chaves, Continental Portugal, by his grandmother’s side.
