The Mend

One night, a bitter Mat reunites with his brother Alan, just before Alan heads out for a vacation with his girlfriend Farrah. Days later, much sooner than expected, Alan returns to find his apartment taken over by Mat, his girlfriend and her son. Doors slam and family threads fray. Magary expands his familiar emotional terrain — urban alienation, fractured fraternal bonds, masculine angst — into something clearly more ambitious in scope.
