State Representative || Susan Donovan is a member of the Rhode Island General Assembly. In 2020, she was elected to a third term as Representative of the Bristol and Portsmouth towns in District 69. Donovan serves in the House Committee on Health, Education, and Welfare. Prior to that, she worked as a teacher for 35 years and as an education consultant. In 2008, she was named Bristol Warren Teacher of the Year. Susan lives in Bristol, Rhode Island, and her Portuguese roots trace back to the Azores, from São Miguel on her maternal grandmother’s side and from Faial on her maternal grandfather’s side.
