Land Ho!

Disappointed with his life as a retiree, Mitch, an exuberant ex-surgeon, convinces the reluctant Colin, his ex-brother-in-law, to go on vacation to Iceland. In between ice bars, fashionable thermal resorts and culinary adventures, the two old friends enjoy themselves in the simple tranquility of each other’s company. Aaron Katz and Martha Stephens, two of the most singular voices of American independent film, succeed in achieving a rare feat, revisiting the popular, yet difficult, genre of the buddy-comedy with humor and intelligence, while endowing it with a few strokes of the travel diary.
