This film follows four generations of the Balsano family, reunited for what could be their final Christmas at the old Family house on Long Island. Aunts, uncles, cousins and an indomitable grandmother have fun, drinking and talking non-stop, even when they have to make an effort to understand each other. While the group indulges in the animated and noisy celebration, young Emily and Michelle slip out to reclaim ownership of a suburban winter wonderland, in a show of adolescent rebellion. In line with the acclaimed Ham On Rye, the screenwriter and director Tyler Taormina left his unmistakable cinematographic mark on the Christmas movie, working with an exceptional cast in which renowned actors such as Michael Cera and Maria Dizzia, blend harmoniously with newcomers Francesca Scorsese and Matilda Fleming.
