column_width_pixel=&#8221;800&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The 2nd edition of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fulbright.pt\/bolsas\/bolsa-fulbright-para-investigacao-com-o-apoio-da-flad\/?fbclid=IwAR2XmeXhvFC8DUeDfK21hn07VihbDOrtq8PuGBpV921rt1cGR9djdaBLZio\">Fulbright&#8217;s research grant with the support of FLAD<\/a> for the academic year of 2021\/2022 has come to an end.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Selection Committee, composed of members of the Board of Directors of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fulbright.pt\/\">Fulbright Commission Portuga<\/a>l and with the participation of a representative from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flad.pt\">FLAD<\/a>, appointed four candidates from various scientific fields for this second edition of the open call:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Clara Marques<\/strong>,\u00a0Architecture &amp; media_width_percent=&#8221;100&#8243; media_link=&#8221;url:http%3A%2F%2Fwww.fulbright.pt%2Fbolsas%2Fbolsa-fulbright-para-investigacao-com-o-apoio-da-flad%2F%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR2XmeXhvFC8DUeDfK21hn07VihbDOrtq8PuGBpV921rt1cGR9djdaBLZio&#8221;][vc_column_text]This partnership between <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fulbright.pt\/\">Fulbright Portugal<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flad.pt\">FLAD<\/a> is designed to support master&#8217;s <strong>students at Portuguese universities<\/strong> who have planned, within the framework of their coursework, for a <strong>period of research<\/strong> at <strong>a U.S. university or research center<\/strong> for a period of <strong>4 months.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you have not applied for this edition, we have good news<strong>, we expect a new edition of this open call for the academic year of 2022\/2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stay tuned!<\/p>\n<h3><strong>About the application:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>The necessary requirements: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have Portuguese nationality.<\/li>\n<li>Have not previously benefited from a Fulbright Program grant.<\/li>\n<li>Have not resided in the USA for a period of 5 years or more in the 6 years prior to the date of the open call.<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t possess dual nationality, Portuguese and North-American.<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t have a residence permit <em>(green card)<\/em> in the USA.<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t have a valid U.S. visa between the time of the grant open call and the start of your stay in the U.S.<\/li>\n<li>To be a graduate student in a Portuguese higher education institution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applicants that meet these conditions must also submit an affiliation letter, that is, a letter of acceptance by the American host institution, three letters of recommendation, the diploma or certificate of grades of the completed academic degrees, and proof of agreement with the project by the coordinator\/ director of the Master&#8217;s degree or the advisor of the Master&#8217;s project of the candidate, if it already exists.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For any questions please contact <a href=\"mailto:program@fulbright.pt\">program@fulbright.pt.\u00a0<\/a>More information about the grant <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fulbright.pt\/bolsas\/bolsa-fulbright-para-investigacao-com-o-apoio-da-flad\/?fbclid=IwAR2XmeXhvFC8DUeDfK21hn07VihbDOrtq8PuGBpV921rt1cGR9djdaBLZio\">here.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We wish the new Fulbrighters an excellent experience!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Congratulations!<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Meet, here, the selected candidates for Fulbright&#8217;s grant with the support of FLAD (21\/22).
