{"id":94920,"date":"2021-02-17T08:20:13","date_gmt":"2021-02-17T08:20:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.flad.pt\/?p=94920"},"modified":"2024-07-03T10:33:33","modified_gmt":"2024-07-03T09:33:33","slug":"research-grant-flad-torre-do-tombo-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.flad.pt\/en\/research-grant-flad-torre-do-tombo-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Research Grant FLAD-Torre do Tombo 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>*The application deadline for this opportunity has ended.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>FLAD, within the framework of the protocol established with <a href=\"http:\/\/antt.dglab.gov.pt\/\">the Portuguese General Directorate of the Book, Archives and Libraries \u2013 National Archive of Torre do Tombo (DGLAB-ANTT)<\/a>, has launched the 2021 edition of the short-term research grants, with the aim of supporting the promotion of Portuguese language and culture in the US.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This program is intended for <strong>researchers from universities and\/or research centers of the United States,<\/strong> who are interested in studying the documentary collections of the <a href=\"http:\/\/antt.dglab.gov.pt\/\">National Archives of Torre do Tombo,<\/a> to develop <strong>projects in the field of archiving and Portuguese history, culture and\/or language.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The grants have a minimum duration of <strong>one month and a maximum of three months<\/strong>\u00a0and must begin<strong> until December 2021.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The estimated support is <strong>1,400 euros per month, <\/strong>and may also include the payment of the round trip <strong>up to a maximum of 750 euros,<\/strong> subject to proof of payment. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Each candidate must include in the application:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Application form available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flad.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/DGLAB-ANTT_FLAD_ApplicationForm_2021.pdf\">here;<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Curriculum vitae of the candidate;<\/li>\n<li>Description of the plan of studies to be conducted at DGLAB-ANTT and how it intersects with the project in which the candidate is integrated;<\/li>\n<li>A document certifying the affiliation to the University or Institute with which the candidate is associated;<\/li>\n<li>Recommendation letters that might be of interest for the assessment of the application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applications must be sent in Portuguese by email to <a href=\"mailto:dsieq@dglab.gov.pt\">dsieq@dglab.gov.pt<\/a> until <strong>April 15th, 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The evaluation is made by a jury composed of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flad.pt\">FLAD<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/antt.dglab.gov.pt\/\">DGLAB-ANTT.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Applicants will be notified via email of the results by <strong>April\u00a030th, 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We advise you to read the notice of this open call <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flad.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/DGLAB-ANTT_FLAD_NOTICE_2021.pdf\">(Notice \u2013 DGLAB-ANTT\/FLAD 2021<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>For more information about the open call visit <a href=\"http:\/\/antt.dglab.gov.pt\/bolsas-de-investigacao-de-curta-duracao-fladdglab-antt-2021\/\">here.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you have additional questions contact: <strong><a href=\"mailto:dsieq@dglab.gov.pt\">dsieq@dglab.gov.pt.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>See you soon!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FLAD with Torre do Tombo promotes short-term research grants, for US researchers, in Portuguese language, culture and history.
