Feast. Fury. Femina. \u2013 Works from FLAD&#8217;s Collection brings together 228 works of art by over 61 artists, in a generational dialogue, between drawing, painting, photography, and sculpture.<\/h3>\n<p>It is an unprecedented exhibition, <strong>the largest ever held from the collection of the Foundation, <\/strong>and is constituted almost exclusively by works of Portuguese artists. The curators,<strong> Ant\u00f3nio Pinto Ribeiro and Sandra Vieira J\u00fcrgens <\/strong>wanted to put the works and artists in dialogue, instead of choosing a portrait of a generation, decade, or style. To this end, they shaped a part of MAAT&#8217;s Central Tejo to create this dialogue, creating a vibrant exhibition that captivates the visitor.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image media=&#8221;90608&#8243; media_width_percent=&#8221;100&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;The idea was to put artists in dialogue, artists of different generations, from the 60&#8217;s who may be in dialogue with artists from 2000 or 2010. That was the perspective, not so much to bring together the generation of the 80s, 90s.&#8221; \u2013 Sandra Vieira J\u00fcrgens, in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rtp.pt\/antena1\/\">Antena 1<\/a>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The curators wanted to portray an extended period of the history of contemporary Portuguese art, from the 1960s to the 21st century.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;It is an important part of a certain narrative eventually even for the majority of the history of art in Portugal from the 60s to 2020.&#8221; \u2013 Ant\u00f3nio Pinto Ribeiro, in<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rtp.pt\/antena1\/\"> Antena 1.<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Ant\u00f3nio Pinto Ribeiro also announced that FLAD <a href=\"https:\/\/flad.inwebonline.net\/\">has restarted art purchases to enrich its collection,<\/a> with a novelty so far, which is the bet on foreign artists.
