{"id":88355,"date":"2021-09-01T08:49:40","date_gmt":"2021-09-01T07:49:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.flad.pt\/?p=88355"},"modified":"2021-09-08T13:29:49","modified_gmt":"2021-09-08T12:29:49","slug":"papersusa-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.flad.pt\/en\/papersusa-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Papers@USA"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column column_width_use_pixel=&#8221;yes&#8221; gutter_size=&#8221;3&#8243; overlay_alpha=&#8221;50&#8243; shift_x=&#8221;0&#8243; shift_y=&#8221;0&#8243; shift_y_down=&#8221;0&#8243; z_index=&#8221;0&#8243; medium_width=&#8221;0&#8243; mobile_width=&#8221;0&#8243; column_width_pixel=&#8221;800&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Grants for the presentation of articles at conferences in the USA.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Papers@USA grant aims to internationalize the scientific knowledge produced in Portugal and support the academic development of the participants.<\/p>\n<p>No requests for support for the presentation of posters are considered.<\/p>\n<p>The grant will have a maximum value of <strong>1,200 euros.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Applications<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Individual applications will be accepted in accordance to the following requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You need to have Portuguese nationality or to have residency in Portugal;<\/li>\n<li>To have experience with the English language;<\/li>\n<li>To be a doctoral student, teacher or researcher from a Portuguese Higher Education institution and\/or research center;<\/li>\n<li>Submit a letter of recommendation from the Portuguese institution to which the candidate is linked;<\/li>\n<li>Join the paper (or presentation slides, in case the conference does not require an extended paper), together with its proof of acceptance by the conference organization (if at the time of the application you do not have this document, you can send it up to 30 days after the closing of the open call to <a href=\"margarida.carvalho@flad.pt\">sofia.roquette@flad.pt<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li>The CV to be inserted may not exceed six A4 sheets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Deadlines for submission of the applications<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Applications must be made <strong>4 months before<\/strong> the start date of the U.S. conference for which the participant was accepted.<br \/>\nTherefore, the application deadlines for the presentation of papers at conferences in the USA begin at:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>January 2021:<\/strong> Applications until September 30th, 2020<\/li>\n<li><strong>February 2021:<\/strong> Applications until October 31st, 2020<\/li>\n<li><strong>March 2021:<\/strong> Applications until November 30th, 2020<\/li>\n<li><strong>April 2021:<\/strong> Applications until December 31st, 2020<\/li>\n<li><strong>May 2021:<\/strong> Applications until January 31st, 2021<\/li>\n<li><strong>June 2021:<\/strong> Applications until February 28th, 2021<\/li>\n<li><strong>July 2021:<\/strong> Applications until March 31st, 2021<\/li>\n<li><strong>August 2021<\/strong>: Applications until April 30th, 2021<\/li>\n<li><strong>September 2021<\/strong>: Applications until May 31st, 2021<\/li>\n<li><strong>October 2021:<\/strong> Applications until June 30th, 2021<\/li>\n<li><strong>November 2021:<\/strong> Applications until July 31st, 2021<\/li>\n<li><strong>December 2021:<\/strong> Applications until August 31st, 2021<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The results will be communicated up to 60 days after the deadline of the respective application.<\/p>\n<p>The application must be submitted online.<\/p>\n<p>Apply <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/flad.secure.force.com\/CandidaturaMain?language=en\">here<\/a>.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Grants for the presentation of articles produced in Portugal at North-American conferences. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":89818,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":"","_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"categories":[],"tags":[444,445,605,738,739],"ppma_author":[1202],"class_list":["post-88355","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","tag-flad-en","tag-2000-en","tag-bolsa-en","tag-artigos-en","tag-conferencias-en"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.7 -
