{"id":84395,"date":"2019-06-20T14:14:21","date_gmt":"2019-06-20T14:14:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.flad.pt\/university-students-from-the-study-in-portugal-network-program-presented-to-flad\/"},"modified":"2020-03-02T12:01:48","modified_gmt":"2020-03-02T12:01:48","slug":"students-from-the-study-in-portugal-network-program-presented-to-flad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.flad.pt\/en\/students-from-the-study-in-portugal-network-program-presented-to-flad\/","title":{"rendered":"Students from the Study in Portugal Network program presented to FLAD"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column column_width_use_pixel=&#8221;yes&#8221; overlay_alpha=&#8221;50&#8243; gutter_size=&#8221;3&#8243; medium_width=&#8221;0&#8243; mobile_width=&#8221;0&#8243; shift_x=&#8221;0&#8243; shift_y=&#8221;0&#8243; shift_y_down=&#8221;0&#8243; z_index=&#8221;0&#8243; column_width_pixel=&#8221;800&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Dozens of young American students gathered at FLAD to hear all about Portugal and the tremendous opportunity it is to study in our country, <\/strong>something that they themselves came to discover while living and choosing Lisbon as their destination to <i>study abroad.<\/i><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a session marked by the sharing of ideas not only about living and studying in Portugal but also about the experience of doing so through the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.studyinportugalnetwork.com\/\">Study in Portugal Network program,<\/a> as well as the opportunities that follow this experience with the support of many institutions, as for example, of the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fulbright.pt\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fulbright Commission Portugal<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, with whom FLAD has maintained a fundamental partnership for several years, was also discussed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The positive balance withdrawn from the session demonstrates once again how SiPN and FLAD <strong>continue to attract American students to our universities and contribute to the internationalization of the Portuguese higher education system and institutions. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to bringing together American students from more than twenty universities in the United States, the session was also attended by the U.S. ambassador to Portugal, <strong>George E. Glass, <\/strong>and the president of FLAD, <strong>Rita Faden, <\/strong>both in the center, and <strong>Elsa Henriques, <\/strong>member of FLAD&#8217;s executive board, to the right.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image media=&#8221;82280&#8243; media_width_use_pixel=&#8221;yes&#8221;
