351 Grant: artistic residencies in Cascais"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><strong>Applications for the 2020 edition of the FLAD-AiR 351 grant are now open.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Founded by Professor <strong>Lu\u00eds Campos e Cunha<\/strong> and by the researcher and curator <strong>Lu\u00edsa Especial, <\/strong>the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.air351.art\/\">AIR 351<\/a> project is an international and independent program of artistic residencies in the visual arts sector located in <strong>Cascais.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Residencies <a href=\"https:\/\/www.air351.art\/\">AiR 351<\/a> presents as a great strategic pillar the creation and proliferation of <strong>an international network of work that allows the movement of artists and curators. <\/strong><strong>FLAD&#8217;s support for the residencies <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.air351.art\/\">AiR 351<\/a><\/strong><strong> focuses precisely on the relationship with the U.S., in order to streamline a dynamic of exchange between North-American and Portuguese artists and curators. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Consequently, <strong>FLAD and <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.air351.art\/\">AiR 351 <\/a><\/strong>award <strong>two grants,<\/strong> fully funded by FLAD, so that North-American artists have the possibility to participate for <strong>4 months<\/strong> in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.air351.art\/\">AiR 351<\/a> residencies, with the start date planned for March<strong> 2020.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The FLAD\/AiR 351 grant offers a <strong>monthly allowance of 1150 euros.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The program also provides:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Access to an individual studio and to the common spaces at the headquarters of AiR 351;<\/li>\n<li>It involves the grant holders with the general activities of the AiR 351 program and with the local artistic community;<\/li>\n<li>Ensures technical assistance and curatorship services;<\/li>\n<li>Includes the participants on the AiR 351 partner networks;<\/li>\n<li>Includes studio visits and public presentations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The application period ends on the <u>20th of January of 2020.<\/u> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>For more
