{"id":121096,"date":"2026-08-31T16:19:46","date_gmt":"2026-08-31T15:19:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.flad.pt\/scholarships-papersusa-2027\/"},"modified":"2026-08-31T16:28:14","modified_gmt":"2026-08-31T15:28:14","slug":"scholarships-papersusa-2027","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.flad.pt\/en\/scholarships-papersusa-2027\/","title":{"rendered":"Grants Papers@USA 2027"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>The Papers@USA scholarship aims to internationalize the scientific knowledge produced in Portugal and support the academic development of the participants, supporting researchers in the presentation of papers and communications in the United States.<\/h3>\n<p>Requests for support for poster presentations are not considered.<\/p>\n<p>The scholarship will have a maximum value of <strong>1,200 euros. <\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Applications<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Individual applications will be accepted according to the following requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Portuguese nationality or resident in Portugal;<\/li>\n<li>Master the English language;<\/li>\n<li>Be a doctoral student, professor or researcher at Portuguese higher education institutions and\/or research centres;<\/li>\n<li>Present a letter of recommendation from the Portuguese institution to which you are linked;<\/li>\n<li>Attach the paper (or presentation slides, in case the conference does not require an extended paper), along with the respective proof of acceptance by the conference organization (if at the time of application you do not yet have this document, you can send it up to 30 days after the closing of the call, to <a href=\"mailto:rafaela.almeida@flad.pt\">rafaela.almeida@flad.pt<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li>The CV to be inserted may not exceed six A4 sheets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Deadlines for submission of applications<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Applications must be made <strong>4 months before<\/strong> the start date of the North American conference for which the participant was accepted.
