A graduate of <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Princeton University<\/span><\/span> and a PhD from the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">London Consortium<\/span><\/span>, she teaches creative writing at <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">New York University<\/span><\/span> and regularly collaborates with publications such as <em data-start=\"790\" data-end=\"810\">The New York Times<\/em>, <em data-start=\"812\" data-end=\"826\">The Guardian<\/em> and <em data-start=\"829\" data-end=\"837\">Granta<\/em>. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"840\" data-end=\"1252\">Among his most recognized books are <em><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">A Separation<\/span><\/span><\/em> and <em><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Intimacies<\/span><\/span><\/em>, novels widely acclaimed by critics and translated in several countries.
