{"id":111420,"date":"2025-09-01T11:22:07","date_gmt":"2025-09-01T10:22:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.flad.pt\/scholarships-papersusa-2026\/"},"modified":"2025-09-04T11:24:47","modified_gmt":"2025-09-04T10:24:47","slug":"scholarships-papersusa-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.flad.pt\/en\/scholarships-papersusa-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Scholarships Papers@USA 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>The scholarship Papers@USA aims to internationalize the scientific knowledge produced in Portugal and support the academic development of participants, supporting researchers in the presentation of papers and communications in the United States.<\/h3>\n<p>Requests for support for poster submissions are not considered.<\/p>\n<p>The grant will have a maximum value of <strong>1,200 euros.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Applications<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Individual applications will be accepted according to the following requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Portuguese nationality or resident in Portugal;<\/li>\n<li>Have experience with the English language;<\/li>\n<li>To be a doctoral student, teacher or researcher from a Portuguese Higher Education institution and\/or research center;<\/li>\n<li>Submit a letter of recommendation from the Portuguese institution to which the candidate is linked;<\/li>\n<li>Attach the paper (or presentation slides, in case the conference does not require an extended paper), along with the respective proof of acceptance by the conference organization (if at the time of application you do not yet have this document, you can send it up to 30 days after the closing of the call, to <a href=\"mailto:rafaela.almeida@flad.pt\">rafaela.almeida@flad.pt<\/a>).<\/li>\n<li>The CV to be inserted may not exceed six A4 sheets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Deadlines for submission of the applications<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Applications must be made <strong>4 months before<\/strong> the start date of the U.S. conference for which the participant was accepted.
