In 2021, he took office for the second time as Representative of Bristol&#8217;s 11th district, which includes Acushnet and New Bedford&#8217;s North End. She has promoted several important bills related to the funding of the education, health and economic development sectors, but also to the support of frontline professionals and the opioid crisis. She has also joined several Caucuses in the House of Representatives such as the Gateway Cities and the American-Portuguese Caucus to consolidate her presence on Beacon Hill.
