Artists with projects in the fields of photography, cinema, jazz, literature and visual arts can apply.<\/p>\n<p>FLAD will support the chosen artists with up to 1,200 euros per week, up to a maximum of four months, for artistic residencies starting during 2024. Applications will be open until January 15, 2024.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Who can apply?<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Artists of Portuguese nationality or foreign artists who have been living in Portugal for more than 5 years;<\/li>\n<li>Age between 25 and 35 years;<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Documents required:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Artistic and\/or academic CV in the mentioned areas;<\/li>\n<li>Present plan for the period of artistic residency;<\/li>\n<li>Submit a letter of recommendation;<\/li>\n<li>Present letter of acceptance of the American institution where you will develop the artistic residency;<\/li>\n<li>Submit a budget, discriminating the costs and sources of funding to which you have competed or will compete for your stay in the USA.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>FLAD support:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Funding up to a maximum of EUR 1200\/week, up to a maximum of four months.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Deadlines:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applications open from September 14, 2023 to January 15, 2024;<\/li>\n<li>Results announced by February 1, 2024.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The application must be submitted in its own form, available at this link: <a href=\"https:\/\/flad.my.salesforce-sites.com\/CandidaturaMain?language=en\">https:\/\/flad.secure.force.com\/CandidaturaMain?language=pt_PT.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The notice of this call &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flad.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Bolsas-para-Residencias-Artisticas-nos-EUA-2024-06092023-EN.pdf\">available here<\/a> &#8211; contains all the information about this competition.
