call: FLAD-Torre do Tombo Research Grant"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Applications are open for the short-term research grants FLAD-Torre do Tombo, aimed at researchers with links to U.S. universities interested in studying the funds and documentary collections of Torre do Tombo.<\/h3>\n<p>This initiative is a partnership between FLAD and the <a href=\"http:\/\/antt.dglab.gov.pt\/\">Directorate-General for Book, Archives and Libraries \u2013 National Archives of Torre do Tombo<\/a> (DGLAB-ANTT)<strong>, with the <\/strong>aim of promoting the Portuguese language and culture in the USA.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This program is intended for <strong>researchers from universities and\/or research centers of the United States,<\/strong> who are interested in studying the documentary collections of the National <a href=\"http:\/\/antt.dglab.gov.pt\/\">Archives of Torre do Tombo,<\/a> to develop <strong>projects in the field of archiving and Portuguese history, culture and\/or language.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The scholarships have a minimum duration <strong>of one month and a maximum of three<\/strong> months and must be started<strong> by December.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The expected support is <strong>1,400 euros per month<\/strong>, and may also include the payment of the round trip <strong>up to a maximum of 750 euros,<\/strong> subject to proof of expenditure. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Each candidate must include in the application:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flad.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/FORM_BNP_FLAD_2022_eng.pdf\">Application form<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li><em>Curriculum vitae<\/em> of the candidate;<\/li>\n<li>Description of the plan of studies to be conducted at DGLAB-ANTT and how it intersects with the project in which the candidate is integrated;<\/li>\n<li>Document proving the link to the University or Institution to which the candidate is associated;<\/li>\n<li>Acredit credentials of the project and that are of interest for the assessment of the application;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applications must be sent in Portuguese by email to <a href=\"mailto:dsieq@dglab.gov.pt\">dsieq@dglab.gov.pt<\/a> by <strong>April 17, 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The evaluation is made by a jury composed of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flad.pt\">FLAD<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/antt.dglab.gov.pt\/\">DGLAB-ANTT.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Applicants will
