An ex-soldier, transformed into loner cowboy Paul (Ethan Hawke), accompanied by his loyal dog, wanders through the West on his way to Mexico An encounter with a drunk priest and an incident with the son of a small-town Sheriff (John Travolta), trigger a wave of violence that brings forth demons from Paul\u00b4s past. Ti West distances himself from the fantastic genre that defines a great part of his body of work to pay homage to the spaghetti western, in which humor does not conceal an acrid commentary on the frequent acts of gratuitous violence which have plagued American society in recent years.<\/span><\/p>\n
