The film follows three border patrol guards at a remote Texas security checkpoint throughout a single day, during a routine inspection with unforeseen consequences, revealing an insidious plot within their own ranks. Greg Kwedar skillfully avoids the great political and economic questions around American immigration policies and the war on drugs, concentrating on the effects free will has on those more susceptible to those policies.<\/span><\/p>\n
